My Fitness Pal App

I recently got an iPhone and I found the coolest app for it! The MyFitnessPal app is so amazing! You can scan bar codes with your phone’s camera and it’ll bring up the nutritional info! So freakin’ cool! 

The only thing I’m worried about is that it sets my calorie limit A LOT lower than I’m used to. With SparkPeople (which I’ve used for years) it usually set my calorie goal between 1300-1600. So I’d eat 1300 on my workout days and around 1600 on days I worked out. MyFitnessPal says I should eat 1250 calories and that’s only if I set my activity level at Lightly Active not Sedentary.

I’m going to give it a try though! I need something new to motivate me!

Does anyone have experience with MyFitnessPal or Sparkpeople? Which do you prefer?

EDIT: Oh, I didn’t realize once you add exercise, it’ll adjust your calories! Another awesome feature!
